I see “Yes, or…” as a very cool book you should write. I like it a lot. “Yes” to validate the truth of what the person is saying, “or” to propose an alternative untethered to the original idea but still related. I may steal this (and by steal I mean lavishly credit you) as an exercise for handling conflict in discussions.
